Saying Goodbye to Land Yacht - (May 3 2013)

The Land Yacht was an amazing bus. Sold to a private party for personal use in 8-31-12. I was very lucky to have owned a Prevost H-5 60. Prevost originally only made 41 of these type of buses. The Land Yacht was the last one in The World to be in commercial use. I have always built these buses to sell. However, I mainly rent them out. So it's always very sad to see one of my creations go. Land Yacht will be missed by me and all my customers. Taking over for The Land Yacht is my newest creation and sister bus "The Party Train." This coach holds just as many passengers, (70). The Party Train is 10 years newer. Both coaches are amazing and I'm already getting rave reviews for Party Train. It's quickly become our #1 bus ~! In fact it's become so popular that I will be building another sister bus to The Party Train in mid May of 2013. Stay tuned~!!!!!!!!! Capt. Marky,Mark

Imposter companies - (October 17 2011)

I want everyone to know that there are unscrupulous imposter companies that claim my buses are theirs. Not only is this "Not True" but my buses all have my photo on them. You can see full videos of all my buses at Partylounge.net. Imposter companies are brokers that have no party buses at all. No licensing, no insurance and non-commercial drivers!! They take huge deposits and often won't even show up!

They steal photos and videos of buses from other websites. There are two such companies that claim my Double Decker 60 passenger "Mega Lounge and my articulated 70 passenger The Land Yacht" are theirs. However, this is a bait and switch. They will tell you bold face lies!!! I have no contracts with these companies!! the only way to get a Partylounge bus is by booking it directly from our website.

The end of the line for Ultra-Lounge - (August 13 2011)

Ultra-Lounge was the second bus out of six in my fleet and left my yard on 8-11-2011 never to return from this mission.

This amazing vehicle has taken me and my business through unsurpassable places and times.

Unfortunately for Ultra, her only flaw was that the engine ran on gasoline. This made the coach functionally & economically obsolescent. As the head of my Corporation I had to make the most viable decision to sell the coach. This was adversely contrary to how I felt about her. True blood, sweat and tears went into the creation of this extraordinary vehicle in every facet comprehensible. Our adventures together supersede any of my expectations. Subsequently, all is copasetic with me; as life goes on. Opportunity has always had a voice if you can hear…I call this theory; “The Juxtaposition”.

Captain's Corner - (June 23 2011)

This week’s story is about Mega-Lounge Double Decker Party Bus

For years this allusive bus was only available to people in Europe. I found myself searching the planet for a way to bring one home to Southern California. I discovered one in Texas of all places; and the race was on to beat five other companies that wanted this unit.

Two days after finding the bus I landed in Dallas, Texas with my driver. I was scheduled to only be in town for three days. However, the shady owner was making things difficult as he was flying in from Argentina and was a whole day late for our meeting. His misrepresentation of the vehicle description left me with a hard decision to make. Not wanting to leave Dallas empty handed and being a bit of a gambler; I closed the deal with a few perks!

Getting my driver on the road wasn’t going to be easy. The bus wasn’t road worthy as promised and my flight was leaving in 2 days. I had to get the bus up and running or my driver would be in big trouble; with thousands of miles of open highway!

The challenge: Get the bus to air up, change 6 out of 8 tires, repair the A/C and replace a cracked windshield. With little to no cooperation from the former owner; I was able to pull one of his mechanics off a job and pay him to make the repairs.

Finally with just a few hours to spare; my driver gets on the road heading for California and I was just able to make my flight!

Back in California the first of many frantic calls from my driver as he was being harassed at every State line. New Mexico, Arizona and California all demanded money from my driver in order to cross their State lines.

One week later the adventure would be over as The Mega-Lounge makes its way into the Partylounge Terminal.

Wasting no time the very next morning Captian Marky,Mark would transform the charter bus into California’s Only State Licensed Double Decker Party Bus!

The end of era is just the beginning?!

Partylounge was founded by Mark Pondoff in 11-03-2001.

The recent retirement of our Senior Party bus “The Pirate Hopper” has led to its new assignment for Partylounge owner Mark Pondoff. The Pirate Hopper made its last commercial run on 1-8-11. The first California State licensed Party bus has had many names over her 39 years in service. In 1972 it was known as The Travel Queen. The RV was originally built by Travel Queen Industries based out of Riverside, California. T.Q.I. was only in business for 10 years and made a series of RV’s that were meant to rival the “Winnebago”.

The Travel Queen was the family RV and based in Southern California. The 22 foot Class “A” Motor Home has been as far north as Eugene, Oregon and has ventured as far south as Ensenada, Mexico. After a bitter divorce the family of 7 split up and the RV stayed parked in Whittier, CA. where it wasn’t in use for over a decade. In bad shape and in need of repairs, Partylounge founder Mark Pondoff rescued the little RV and started Partylounge Transportation. The RV was renamed the “The Pirate Hopper”.

The coach started off priced at $85. Per hour and held 15 people. The interior had a bathroom, bar, spinning stripper pole, slot machine, Pirate themed upholster, 1000 watt stereo, IPOD, DVD, CD, ceiling lights and two digital TV monitors.

The “Hopper” for short was given a new engine, generator, A/C, rims, tires and paint job.

Shortly after starting the business Mark Pondoff was approached by the executives from the shows “Elimidate and MTV’s – NEXT”. The Hopper was chosen to film both pilot episodes for the two shows.

Shortly after The Hopper’s TV day view, reservations picked up. President Mark Pondoff, AKA Captain Marky,Mark ; saw the need to expand the business and set out to build another RV Limousine called “The Ultra-Lounge”.

The Captain renovates all the coaches himself from the ground up, including the demolition work and design work for the new floor plans. The company now has 3 RV style Limousines and 3 Party Buses.

On 2-1-11 The Hopper was transformed again into a multi use vehicle. The forward section of the coach was transformed into an office. Located in the center of the coach, the slot machine was removed to make way for The Captain’s Private Stock Bar.

The RV will now be the owner’s personal office / Party Bus on wheels! This mobile commanded center also doubles as a moving billboard. Still listed on Partylounge’s Equipment Statement filed with the C.P.U.C (California Public Utilities Commission). The Hopper will still retain her licensing numbers on the side. Available for Private charters if the offer is right!

Filming for the Partylounge website to commence on 6-23-11. All 5 buses will have updated videos for the home page of our website.

The new videos will feature exterior and interior shots. This is necessary because the buses are upgraded all year long, so the old videos have become outdated. You can check out all the new upgrades to our buses by visiting our website http://www.Partylounge.net

Digital TV has been added to 2 of our buses, The Ultra-Lounge 24 passenger and American Dream 30 passenger. They also feature upgraded DVD players that can even accept SD cards for a photo slid show.

The Future is Here ! - (March 9 2011)

Along time ago, from a city far far away, a regular bus comes to Partylounge and is transformed into our Furture Liner!

This 45 passenger bus has been completely transformed into a futuristic themed party bus with amenities that are out of this world! Secheduled completion date April 1st, 2011.

The Future is now my minions!
